BAPTISM (1).jpg

Baptism is an opportunity to walk in obedience to Jesus and go public with your faith. When lives change, we celebrate big. So don’t miss out on going public with your faith in our baptism celebration.

***OUR NEXT BAPTISM WILL BE June 2, 2024***

BAPTISM

Water Baptism: Jesus said that to be saved you must be “born again”. This confused many people in that time and still does today. Baptism is a picture of being “born again,” an outward declaration of an inward reality. It is dying to our sinful ways (going under the water) and being born again into the family of God (coming out of the water).

Baptism doesn’t save you. However, Jesus does tell everyone to be Baptized. In a way it is a visible picture of the invisible faith that lives in everyone who believes in Jesus. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16; Acts 8:12, 36-38; 10:47-48)

“Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 NLT

“Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38 NLT
